New Airline Fee may actually be an improvement to Cheap Airfare

For decades, airlines have refused to allow changes to names of airline tickets. The airlines have called this a “security measure”, but we all know that is a load of crap. Changing a name on an airline reservation has always been just as easy as changing the flights or class of service, but in the past couple of years as airlines continually add absurd fees to cheap airfare (like checking baggage, etc.), one airline, Allegiant, allows customers to change the names on their reservations for a reasonable fee. As all airlines look to add fees to increase revenue, they may be adding one to allow you to change names as well…one fee that would actually represent an increase in service.
