I Like the design of the Makita radio
The Makita Radio is a rugged radio for the work site, built to withstand the rigors of the construction world, and provide much needed entertainment. It has limited water resistance, said to last in the rain for up to five minutes, which is certainly enough time to realize it is raining, and get the Makita Radio under some cover, without losing any music time. The Elastomer protection bumpers on the Makita Radio mean the radio is capable of surviving the bumps and bounces getting to the job site in a truck, and surviving on the ground on the work site. In addition, the rugged-ized Makita Radio seems to have excellent sealing, capable of working in the dustiest of environments with no problem.
