Duplicating the content is bad
There’s so much misunderstanding about duplicate content, but really it is pretty simple. If there’s more than one copy of your stuff around the web, you can lose on the search engines. What could be harder to understand than that? There are hundreds of articles around the web all about duplicate content, so learning the facts and what to do to avoid and overcome it is not that difficult. I have a website that has had its copy duplicated across several other sites, unofficially of course. But there has been no problem at all in getting this site in the search engines. There really is not much of a problem and people need to be a lot less worried about it.
