Mesothelioma Stages groups
The stages of mesothelioma are categorized into two main groups: localized and advanced. In Localized group of mesothelioma stages, the cancerous cells spread into the linings of chest wall or lung or diaphragm or heart etc. On the other hand, the advanced group of mesothelioma includes stage II, Stage III and Stage IV. In Stage III of mesothelioma the tumor has spread to some internal organs such as heart, chest wall, peritoneum etc. In the stage IV that is very critical, the cancer or tumor has spread to some distant organs or tissues. Stage IV of mesothelioma cancer is very critical as compared to stage I of this cancer.
