Hiring is Harder Now That The Business Grew

When I started my own company, I couldn’t understand what all the staffing fuss was about.  If I liked an applicant and their background check came back OK, I hired them.  But, when my business expanded to three times its size, I quickly realized that I wouldn’t have time to even read all the resumes and applications I was getting, let alone hire anyone.  The next person I hired was a corporate recruiter who installed applicant tracking software, began scheduling appointments, and soon filled all of our vacant positions.  I love our system’s efficiency and have a new respect for recruiters.
